Questions before we start
Every project is quoted in writing after we agree the scope; there are no fixed packages. Accounts, payments and connections to other systems are the usual cost drivers. Recurring costs such as domain, hosting or maintenance are listed separately so you see them before deciding.
Is the finished website free?
The agreed basic demo is free. The full website is paid work. I’ll explain the build price and any domain, hosting or maintenance costs before you decide.
Do I need finished copy or photographs?
No. Tell me about your business and share any material you have. We’ll agree what content and images the website needs.
Will it be prepared for Google and AI search?
We can include clear service pages, search titles, descriptions, a sitemap and structured data. Languages get separate URLs. These help search systems understand the site; rankings also depend on competition and the wider web.
Can I update it after launch?
Yes. We’ll agree whether you want to edit the content yourself or have me handle updates, and make any ongoing costs clear.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Only if the site uses cookies or trackers that require consent. This site runs on cookie-free analytics and needs none; I can build yours the same way if that fits your tools.
Will the site be in more than one language?
If you need it. Each language gets its own URLs and language links, as on this site, so search engines show the right version.
Why hire a freelance web designer instead of an agency?
You talk directly to the person who designs and builds your website, with no account manager or handovers. The scope is agreed in writing and the site is delivered documented, with the domain and hosting in your name. If your project needs a large team at once, I will tell you in the first conversation.
